Last night we had a dinner at Ami E.G's. It was like a doa selamat thing for Aunty Khadija for her surgery that she had earlier last month. Had fun, and took some pictures.

I was out with Abah the other day; we went groceries shopping.
There was this one little boy, he was crying his eyes out due to what, I have no idea.

It was so obvious that his parents were mad at him for crying in public.
It was a pity sight, but I couldn't do anything besides from looking at him from afar.

After paying for the things, we - Abah and I got in the car.
The little boy and his parents went to their motorbike and ride just right beside us.

The little boy was squashed between his parents, and still crying..
My heart leap out to him while I look at him from the car..
Searching for his eyes, I smiled..

He looked me in the eye, all confused.
Then, his frown turned into a smile, and he was amused to see someone smiling back at him!

He started laughing and clapping his hands together and waving at me.

How amazing is that? Just because I gave him a smile.
That made me smile the whole entire day.

A smile could brighten up someone's day with or without you knowing it.

This one's for you, little boy.
For all the rest of your days that you begin with a smile.

Great Weekend.

How was your weekend? I've been very weirdly active. Been going out for a swim every morning and jogs in the evening.. Yes, believe it people, because it is so true! I'm even impressed of myself! Hahah..

Though I think my skin is getting more tanned from being exposed to the great outdoors. Oh, wells! At least I'm happy doing what I'm doing! ;)

Been hanging out with the fellas too. Every single night without missed! Ahh, felt just like the old days, when we were not too busy with university life and could hang out anytime we wanted too.

Ohh, after a so very very long time, I went to the movies! Watched Underworld III with friends and siblings. It has been some time since I've actually had this much fun.. Here's some of the photos we took one of the many nights..

Let's face it - English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France. Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth, beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices? Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend? If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell?

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language ! in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out and in which, an alarm goes off by going on.

English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all. That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

My Almost Second Mistake.

The thing is... I think I might still have some feelings towards you. Emphasizing on the word 'some' there. Which also explains why I am in deep shit. One thing's for sure, I know it won't work because I can't stand you!

The fact that you annoy the hell out of me at times, just makes me hate you more.
But seeing you with someone else, I don't know... Just felt awkward you know.
Can't blame me, its the feelings.

Shite. I'm so screwed. I've been having mood swings today. Before you ask anything, YES I definitely know why. It is just too sad to be written here. So screw it.

I was shocked, then I was happy, I got hyper then. Then I got real sad. Minutes after that I laughed my ass off!

Life's been an ass. It has been dull, that I need something interesting to happen.

I've been staying up late again, up until 4-5 in the morning. So much of trying to sleep early.

Things just happens in a blink of an eye. Before you knew it, everything's changing. Most probably, you would not give a hell and keep on living in that world of yours, in your own head, with only the people you care about. But eventually reality sets in. And you have to accept the fact that everything is changing, and not to just how you want it to be.

It's hard finding yourself lost in a group of people that you have known all your life. It's hard to face the reality at times.

Sometimes you wish it would just stop.
But no, it will keep on continue going it's own way.
And the worst part, there's nothing you could do except for going with the flow.
Molding yourself to what there is to come.
Keeping yourself ready for the worst of the worst.

Remember people, how bad a situation or something is, never regret it. Never regret on what you have done. Because at one point, you wanted it, and it made you the way you are right now.
